If you had a planned visit at Joyceville Institution you will need to make a phone call before you head over.
Correctional Services Canada issued a lockdown on May 10th to do an exceptional search of the facility.
The search was ordered to ensure the safety of staff and inmates.
CSC officials encourage visitors to call ahead of time as some visitations may be suspended until the search is complete.
Normal operations will continue when officials say it is safe to do so.
