A full burn ban is currently in place in Prince Edward County.
The burn ban restricts all fires including campfires, burn barrels, chimeneas, brush piles and yard waste.
Cooking devices such as smokers or grills are permitted, as well as propane or natural gas fueled appliances.
The restriction is due to high winds and dry conditions in the forecast over the next several days.
