Lennox and Addington OPP are continuing to investigate after an attempted bank robbery in Amherstview on Speers Boulevard.
Just before noon Monday, March 13th, L&A OPP along with the OPP Canine Unit and members of the Emergency Response Team responded to the scene.
The person of interest is described as a white male, approximately 5’8″ – 5’10” and 170lbs – 180lbs, wearing all black. He was last seen fleeing on foot northbound on Speers Boulevard. It is believed the person of interest then entered the driver’s side of a white sedan before leaving the area.
Investigating officers are looking for video footage of this 4-door sedan, believed to be a Nissan or Toyota, seen in the Amherstview area between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., on March 13, 2023.
