Art and Found Day is back for a second year in Greater Napanee. Local artists will be hiding their art around town in plain sight for community members to take home.
myFM spoke with Lisa Ray Koenig of Groovy Cats Art, who told us how artists can take part.
Koenig says last year’s local launch of this global initiative was a big success.
Art and Found Day takes place every year on March 12th.
Koenig didn’t want to give away her own hiding spots, but said art may be found downtown Napanee, in your favourite park, or even up at the Strathcona Paper Centre. Check the social media of your favourite local artists, as they may be posting hints of where to find their art!
Local artists participating include Lisa Ray Koenig, Jeanne Hudson, Joanne Kells Chalmers, and Tammy Hood.
