A youth has been charged in relation to threats made to a school in Picton.
Prince Edward County OPP say they received reports of a threat directed toward a local Picton school, but following an investigation confirmed there was no immediate risk to public safety.
A young person has been arrested and charged with uttering threats.
They were released from custody and scheduled to appear in court in Picton at a later date.
The OPP is reminding parents to discuss the use of social media with their kids and talk about the importance of acceptable use.
