If you’re looking for something to do with the family this weekend, why not plan a visit to the Museum of Lennox and Addington.
The fun begins this Friday on the P.A. Day with an activity the whole family can take part in.
myFM spoke with Alannah MacGregor, Programs & Exhibitions Co-ordinator, tells us more about this activity.
There are two time slots for this event. One from 10:30am to 11:30am, then again from 1pm to 2pm. Registration is required in advance. You can do so by visiting the museum’s website. Anyone interested in taking part in P.A. Day programing is asked to register by Wednesday, February 1st.
Then the following day, Saturday, February 4th, kids will be able to take part in acrylic pouring with Rhonda Evans. MacGregor told us more about what acrylic pouring is.
Children ages 4 – 11 can participate in the morning session which begins at 10:30am. They will be making a heart shaped acrylic pour.
Then in the afternoon the older kids will have a chance to try their hand at acrylic pouring.
You can find registration for either Museum Kids or Teen Takeover on the museum’s website. Both are free to attend. Registration closed Thursday, February 2nd.
