The Correctional Service of Canada is reporting the death of an inmate at Bath Institution.
The inmate, who will not be named in order to comply with a court-ordered publication ban, passed away on January 25th.
At the time of death, they had been serving a sentence of five years and seven months for sexual interference with a person under 16 and corrupting children, which began December 8, 2021
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified.
as in all cases of death on an inmate, CSC will be reviewing the circumstances. They have also notified the police and the coroner be notified.
