Funding is available for local charities, non-profits and Indigenous governing bodies through the Community Services Recovery Fund.
myFM spoke with Bob Childs, Executive Director for Community Foundation for Lennox & Addington, who says this is a special fund from the government of Canada which is distributed through national funders as partners with the government of Canada.
CFFLA’s role is to help connect organizations in Lennox and Addington County and Hastings County to funds related process improvements.
To apply for funding, you can visit their website at CFFLA.ca. Once there, you’ll find a link to the Community Services Recovery Fund.
Childs says it’s an exciting opportunity for the Community Foundation.
Applications for funding can be submitted now until February 21, 2023.
