A 58 year old male has been charged following a robbery at a Kingston financial institution on Gardiners Road near Development Drive. On January 5th Kingston Police say the accused handed a note to a teller demanding money, the note also indicated he was in possession of a firearm. Officers responded to the scene and after a brief foot chase, were able to apprehend the man. The currency was recovered but there was no indication that he was ever in possession of a weapon. The accused was charged with robbery and having a facemask or disguise.
