The Napanee Raiders continue their winning ways after just one game this past weekend.
Friday, December 16th, the Raiders hosted the Picton Pirates. After a scoreless first period, Napanee opened things up with three unanswered goals in the second from Ben Carter, Soren Zamuner and Connor Brooks to make it 3-0. Adam Nuttell and Ryan Kidd continued the scoring for the Raiders in the third period. Picton then rallied back scoring four goals of their own. To solidify the Napanee win, a goal by Cameron Krupa. Napanee beat Picton 6-4.
The Napanee Raiders remain atop the East Tod Division standings with a 22-2 record and 44 points. In second place is the Jets who have 33 points and third place Picton with 25.
The Raiders return to action Tuesday, December 20th when they will be in Campbellford to play the Rebels. Puck drop is 7:30pm.
