A winter weather travel advisory has been issued for Greater Napanee and the surrounding area. This is the first significant snowfall of the season for the area.
Environment Canada says snow will begin this evening, tapering off to light snow Wednesday morning. Officials are predicting snowfall amounts near 5 cm, with the potential of 10 cm in a few locales.
Poor visibility is possible at times during heavy snowfall. Motorists are asked to adjust your driving with changing road conditions, slow down driving in slippery conditions and watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.
