The Napanee Raiders had a quiet Friday night not hosting their weekly home game at the Strathcona Paper Centre, but they made it up to Raiders fans playing an exciting game Saturday.
Saturday, October 22, the Raiders hit the road to play the Rebels in Campbellford. The first period was very one sided, seeing 6 goals for the Raiders by Connor Brooks, Marshal McFarland, Christos Chronis, Cameron Krupa, Ben Chubbs, and Noah Westwater. The second period saw five more goals for the Raiders by Ryan Kidd, Christos Chronis, Noah Jacobsen, Colby Cross and Ben White making it an 11-0 game. The third period opened with a third goal of the night and a hat trick for Christos Chronis. The rest of the period saw goals by Marshal McFarland and a fourth for Christos Chronis. Final score for the night was 14-0 for the Raiders.
The Napanee Raiders sit atop the East Tod Division standings with an 11-0 record and 22 points. In second place is the Jets who have 12 points and third place Picton with 10.
The Raiders will be back in action Friday, October 28th at the Strathcona Paper Centre when they’ll host the Picton Pirates. Puck drop is 7:30.
