Greater Napanee residents and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ Community had an opportunity to hear from their council candidates Tuesday night during a special event hosted by Napanee Pride.
All three deputy Mayor candidates were in attendance, along with 14 council candidates.
The event began with all candidates giving a two-minute opening statement about themselves and on issues they have heard from constituents who are part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Some questions candidates answered were about equity versus equality and spaces for queer youth.
