A 71-year-old from Toronto is facing drunk driving charges after a traffic stop in Greater Napanee.
Shortly after Midnight October 25th, Lennox and Addington OPP responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 401 eastbound. The vehicle got off the highway at County Road 41, where police located and stopped the vehicle. Officers spoke with the driver who was then arrested and taken to the detachment for more testing.
The accused is facing two impaired driving charges. They were released from custody with a future court date. His licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for 45 days.
