There’s a revised detour for the Picton Main Street reconstruction project today through Friday.
The route will involve the closure of the intersection of Picton Main Street and Paul Street and the detouring of northbound traffic between Paul Street and Johnson Street.
The detour is required to facilitate the final watermain connection, the placement of granular base, the placement of asphalt pavement.
Completing this portion of the project will allow the County to reopen two lanes of traffic on Picton Main Street from Bridge Street to Paul Street and northbound traffic from Paul Street to Johnson Street.
