The Picton waste transfer site has a closure this week.
The site will be closed on Wednesday, August 24 due to repair work happening to the asphalt entrance.
The site will re-open for operation on Saturday.
The following sites will be open on August 24 to offset the impacts – South Marysburgh Landfill, Hallowell Transfer Station, Sophiasburgh Transfer Station.
Construction waste can be taken to either the Hallowell or Sophiasburgh landfills during this closure.
