A Napanee District Secondary School student has been named one of this years Limestone Student Achievers Awards recipients.
The Limestone Student Achievers Award recognizes outstanding achievements of secondary students whose exception accomplishments merit recognition beyond the separate categories of awards at the school level.
Napanee’s Breanna Roy is a recipient as she has had an honour role status each year of High school, is an energetic and skilled athlete, epitomizes what it means to be a leader, was the Student Trustee for the 2021-2022 school year, and has lead Orange Shirt Day initiatives, did class visits, and organized smudge with elders, as well as visited neighbouring elementary school to discuss Truth and Reconciliation with younger students.
