This past Saturday was the first in-person Walk for Alzheimer’s in two years.
myFM spoke with Lesley Kimble, KFL&A Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator, who told us about this year’s walk.
She says on Saturday they definitely took more than the required 4500 steps. 4500 represents the number of people diagnosed in the KFL&A community.
So far they have raised 70% of their goal, but donations are still coming in! If you weren’t able to take part in this years walk, you’re still able to make a contribution.
Kimble had this message to share with the community.
