The Month of June has been declared Deafblind Awareness Month in Greater Napanee.
Council made the proclamation at their meeting last night.
A letter to council says that Deafblind Awareness Month is designed to help Canadians develop an understanding of, and a comfort with, the people in their communities who are Deafblind.
Similar to last years celebration in Napanee, there will be a yarnbombing at Springside Park.
