The Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation is launching a new fundraising event this year.
myFM spoke with Amanda Chalk, hospital foundation Program Coordinator, who told us about their Handbags for Healthcare.
The event will be taking place online at Trellis.org/handbags-for-healthcare-lacgh beginning 9am June 3rd until 9pm June 12th.
Chalk gave us a bit of a teaser as to the purses that will be available during this virtual auction.
Funds raised will be going directly to the hospital.
Donations of new or vintage style (gently used and in excellent condition) handbags are being accepted until May 31st. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
