Cataraqui Conservation has closed the Cataraqui Trail. This is no April Fool’s joke however. With the snowmobile season over with the gates on the 104 kilometer trail will be closed to prevent other motorized vehicles off the trail. The trail will remain available for maintenance vehicles from Cataraqui Conservation, partner municipalities or authorized contractors. Permitted uses of the trail include hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing and horseback riding.
