Since Public Health’s most recent COVID-19 report on Monday, March 21, the KFL&A region has seen two new deaths due to COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 37 in the region.
Today’s update shows there are now six local cases in hospital, with four in the ICU and none on ventilators.
Public Health reported 177 new high risk cases of COVID-19 since their last report, bringing the number of high risk cases to 401.
There are currently 16 active outbreaks in the region, with 47 active cases associated with them.
As of this afternoon, 92.8% of individuals 5 and over in KFL&A have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. 89% have received their second. 68.3% of those 18 and over have received a three doses.
