The month of April has been proclaimed Be a Donor Month in the Town of Greater Napanee.
During their recent meeting, Councillor Terry Richardson noted the importance of this proclamation and that the town should be involved.
In the declaration submitted to council from Lesley Kimble from the Transplant Advocate Association, it was mentioned that April will be a time to raise awareness about the shortage of life saving organs and tissue in Ontario, and to inspire people in our local communities to register.
