An individual was apprehended by police after a failed attempt to intruduce contraband into Collins Bay Institution.
On February 10th, thanks to the vigilance of staff, a package containing contraband and unauthorized items was seized.
The seized items included 265 grams of marijuana, as well as cell phones and accessories.
The suspect was apprehended by Kingston Police at the time of the seizure, in collaboration with the Joint Forces Penitentiary Squad.
