KFL&A Public Health are reporting 131 new cases of COVID-19 today, December 14. The active case count is now up to 1018 in the region. Public health has also reported the 16th death due to COVID-19 in the region.
Of these cases, 107 were reported in Kingston, six were reported in South Frontenac, five cases in Greater Napanee, three in Stone Mills, and two in Loyalist.
There are now 31 local cases of COVID-19 are in hospital, 13 of which are in the ICU with nine on ventilators.
There are now 37 active outbreaks in the region, with 303 active cases associated with them.
As of this afternoon, 89% of individuals 5 and over in KFL&A have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. 82.8% have received their second.
