Dr. Piotr Oglaza
There’s a new top Doc in the KFL&A Region. Dr. Piotr Oglaza has now served his first week as Medical Officer of Health for the region.
He spoke for the first time with local media in a call on Thursday. During the call he spoke of what Public Health means.
Oglaza says it is their sheer focus on the health of the community, meaning they involves their caring for each other in a way that makes individuals and communities better.
He then spoke of what being a Medical Officer of Health means. He says he truly learned what it means to be a MOH after working closly with Dr. Kieran Moore and Dr. Ian Gemmell.
When speaking on his vision for Public Health, Oglaza says that truly revolves around the concept of bringing community together and leading the way towards changes.
