Town of Greater Napanee town council decided at last night’s meeting to help the Napanee Raiders and also three youth groups with their fees at the Strathcona Paper Centre.
The Napanee Raiders went to council two weeks ago asking that the fees of their dressing room and storage be waived.
Council decided last night, with the help of Chris Brown, Facilities Manager, to push back the 2021 invoice for all groups from being paid in January to be paid when the winter season starts in the fall.
Giving the teams 9 months without these fees.
It was also announced that the SPC will be opening back up on tuesday.
