The elderly victim suffers from dementia and was not immediately aware that items had been taken. Police were contacted and investigation revealed that Wilson had withdrawn over $5000 from the victim’s accounts. Wilson is wanted for fraud over $5000, use credit card obtained by offence, utter forged document/ cheque signature, possess proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000, two counts of breach of probation.
Police say a separate incident has since been investigated where Wilson is accused of impersonating a store employee and stealing a bank card from a visually impaired victim and then using it to complete fraudulent transactions.
