If you’re driving through rural parts of Prince Edward County, you’ll notice more civic address signs have been installed.
Farm 911: The Emily Project urges landowners to have an address at the entrance to their farm fields to help first responders find those who need help after an accident.
The project is named in honour of Emily Trudeau, who died in an accident five years ago.
Anyone interested in acquiring a Farm 911 sign has to file an application with the municipality’s Development Services department.
