The Greater Napanee Fire Department is inviting families to celebrate Halloween with local firefighters on Oct. 31.
Halloween at the fire department will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the fire station at 66 Advance Avenue.
Firefighter Ken Meincke says the event will offer fun activities for children and a chance to learn about fire safety.
Families will also have opportunities to take photos on the trucks and pick up important fire safety tips.
Meincke says the event is a great way for residents to connect with the people who help protect their community.
The fire department is looking forward to welcoming families and wishes everyone a safe and happy Halloween.
