The Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation is inviting the community to support local health care during the fourth annual McDonald’s Hospital Day on Thursday, Oct. 29, in Napanee.
Amanda Chalk told us how the community can take part.
Foundation representatives will be at McDonald’s from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., collecting donations inside the restaurant and through the drive-thru.
Volunteers are also needed, with interested residents asked to contact the Foundation office at 613-354-3301, ext. 4400.
Visitors can also purchase October 50/50 tickets during the event.
The Foundation’s September draw reached a record jackpot of more than $22,000, with one winner taking home over $11,000.

Chalk thanked the community and McDonald’s for helping keep health care close to home.
