The Cauldron Sisters are getting ready to host their fourth annual Spooktacular Witch Dance in support of the local Ontario SPCA.
The Napanee-based group will welcome guests to the Selby community hall on Oct. 24 from 7 p.m. to midnight. The evening will include a live DJ, a cash bar, raffle prizes and a costume contest.
Lorraine Elder Ross said the fundraiser relies on donations from local businesses and support from the community.
Guests can purchase raffle tickets and enter them for prizes they hope to win. Costume prizes will be awarded in individual, couple and group categories. Attendees can dress up as witches or choose any costume they like.
The Cauldron Sisters choose a different local, not-for-profit charity each year through a random draw. Past beneficiaries include the Alzheimer’s Society of KFL&A and Lennox Community Theatre.
The group has grown to 40 members and performs at community events throughout the year.
Ross said the group welcomes new members of all experience levels.
The Cauldron Sisters can be contacted through their Facebook page or email to arrange appearances at future events.
