Newburgh’s Hollow Square Market is scaling back its operations next season, ending its bi-weekly artisan markets while keeping two popular events.
Organizers, the Parr/Bagyan family, announced the changes in a social media post, saying the decision was made after a challenging 2026 season and with their family’s best interests in mind.
The market launched in 2019 and featured local vendors selling handmade and homegrown products along Main Street. Each market also featured a different theme.
The family says Canine Watersports and Hollow’s Eve will both return next year. Canine Watersports features dogs leaping into a pool, while Hollow’s Eve is a Halloween-themed community event held in October.
Dates for both events have not yet been announced.
Organizers say they hope to keep the community spirit alive and continue providing a safe, welcoming space for people to gather.
The family also thanked vendors, visitors and supporters who helped make the market a community fixture over the years.
