Merry Little Main Street is returning to Bath on Thursday, Nov. 12, bringing holiday shopping, live music and Christmas activities to the village’s Main Street.
Cassandra Locklin, owner of The Lodge Coffee House and founder of the Bath Business Group, says the event has grown over the last seven years alongside Bath’s business community.
Visitors can hang out with Santa and enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides from Fairfield-Gutzeit House, Christmas carolling, marshmallow roasting over outdoor fires and live music from Jerry McGrath. The museum will also be open, while local vendors offer holiday shopping opportunities.
The event is being held earlier than usual this year, moving from its traditional December timing to help avoid poor weather and scheduling conflicts with other holiday events.
Locklin says seeing visitors support local businesses makes the evening even more special.
The free, community-run event runs Thursday, Nov. 12, from 5 to 8 pm.
