A 26-year-old Napanee man is facing impaired and dangerous driving charges after several collisions involving parked vehicles in Napanee.
Lennox and Addington County OPP say officers were called just after 2 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, about several fail-to-remain collisions on Thomas Street West.
Police say the suspect vehicle struck several parked cars before leaving the scene. The vehicle also left gouges in the pavement after a tire came off its rim.
Officers tracked down the vehicle nearby and arrested the driver.
Samuel Kelly, 26, of Napanee, was charged with impaired driving, impaired driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams, dangerous operation and failure to remain at the scene of a collision.
Kelly was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Court in Greater Napanee on Dec. 1. His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded.
