88.7 myFM taking part in the 2025 Trunk or Treating - Photo by the Town of Greater Napanee
The fifth annual Trunk or Treat event returns to Market Square on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 1 to 3 p.m., with a record number of participants ready to hand out Halloween candy.
Bethany Chadwick says 16 vehicles have registered so far, the most in the event’s history. More participants are welcome to join, even on the day of the event.
Families are encouraged to wear costumes and bring their Halloween spirit. The L&A Ontario SPCA, Martin’s bus, the fair board, the local soccer club and fire department are among the expected participants, along with several local families. 88.7 myFM will also be there providing the spooky tunes!
Parking will be available around the old Town Hall and on nearby streets. Roads through Market Square will remain open to traffic.
Chadwick says the event continues to grow each year.
The town is also preparing for its holiday season, with Light Up the Park scheduled for Nov. 27 and an indoor holiday market planned for Nov. 28.
