On Friday night the Trent Hills Thunder returned to Napanee to take on the Raiders, who were coming off back-to-back losses last weekend.
Napanee’s Mason Goodfellow scored late in the first period for a 1-0 Raiders lead. Trent Hills then scored nearing the half way point of the second period to tie to game 1-1. Early in the third period, the Thunder scored their second on the night. Late in the period, Luke Amat scored for the Raiders to tie the game and send us to Overtime. The Raiders fought hard, but it was Trent Hills who’d score in the OT frame for a 3-2 win.
Raiders goalie Jacob Brown made 20 saves on 23 shots on goal.
The Raiders posted 47 shots on goal tonight.
Standings update: The Napanee Raiders were bumped to fourth place in the East Tod Division standings with a 4-2-1 record and 9 points.
