South Frontenac Township is inviting residents to celebrate local volunteers at its annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Nov. 21.
The free event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Verona Lions Club and is open to South Frontenac residents who volunteered in the community during 2026. Plus-ones are welcome, but advance registration is required.
The township is also accepting nominations for three volunteer recognition categories. The Long-Standing Volunteerism Recognition honours someone who has made a meaningful contribution through years of service.
The Good Neighbour Recognition recognizes someone who supports neighbours and strengthens the community, including through informal volunteer efforts.
The Youth Volunteer Recognition is for an outstanding volunteer aged 21 or younger who has shown a commitment to the community.
Nominations close Nov. 2, while luncheon registration closes Nov. 13. Residents can nominate a volunteer, register for the luncheon and find more information at southfrontenac.net/volunteer.
