Starlet is celebrating 20 years in business in downtown Napanee, with owner Jefta Monster thanking the community for its support.
The store opened in 2006 after Monster and his wife, Cat, decided to start a business in a welcoming small community.
They began with a small jewellery store and have since expanded their selection to include clothing, shoes, purses, lotions, greeting cards and more.
Starlet marked the milestone on Saturday with a celebration that drew community members to congratulate the business, while enjoying sweet treats and deals in-store.
Monster said he was overwhelmed by the turnout and thanked customers for supporting the store over the years.
The business aims to make every customer feel like a Starlet, regardless of how much they’re looking to spend. Wether it be a little girl with her allowance money, or someone looking for a brand new outfit.
Monster also credited the store’s staff for helping it reach the milestone.
