The sixth annual Grayson Cup will bring golfers and community members together in Bath on Friday to raise money for Easter Seals Ontario.
Sponsored by Sethi International, the event will take place at Loyalist Golf and Country Club on Sept. 18.
Community Engagement Officer, Linda Clouthier explains more.
The tournament was created to celebrate Grayson, an Easter Seals child, and has grown into an annual community fundraiser. Proceeds will help children and youth living with physical disabilities access mobility equipment, services and opportunities. Clouthier has a personal connection to this event, with Grayson being her son.
She says the support has made a direct difference in Grayson’s life, including helping fund the equipment needed for greater participation and independence.
The event includes a day of golf, contests, prizes and special moments, followed by a sit-down dinner. Clouthier explains what people can expect.
Registration costs $200 per golfer, including a golf cart and dinner. Dinner-only tickets are $75.
