Two people are facing impaired driving and other criminal charges following separate 911 calls on Labour Day.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to a reported dispute at a residence in Tyendinaga Township shortly before 3 a.m. Monday. Police located a vehicle that had left the scene and arrested a 20-year-old from Roslin following an investigation.
The accused faces six charges, including impaired driving, forcible confinement, dangerous driving, mischief over $5,000 and novice driver violations.
Later that morning, shortly after 11 a.m., police responded to another reported dispute at a residence in Deseronto. Officers located the involved vehicle in Kingston and arrested a 26-year-old from Belleville.
That accused faces five charges, including impaired driving, spousal assault, mischief and operation while prohibited.
Both accused were released and are scheduled to appear in Greater Napanee court on Oct. 20. Their licences were suspended for 90 days and their vehicles were impounded.
