88.7 myFM food drive raises more than $17,400 in food support

A huge thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to support the 88.7 myFM All Hands On Deck Food Drive!

Thanks to the incredible community support, the food drive collected more than $3,200 in donations and over 4,700 pounds of food.

Using Food Banks Canada’s 2026 value of $3.71 per pound, the donated food represents more than $17,400 in value.

All donations and proceeds raised will support the Morningstar Mission and Salvation Army food banks, helping provide food to local families and individuals in need.
