Loyalist Township is reminding residents to safely dispose of household hazardous waste at an upcoming collection event in Odessa.
The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will take place Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 748 County Road 6.
Residents can bring hazardous materials that should not be placed in garbage, recycling bins or poured down drains. Proper disposal helps protect local waterways, the environment and community health.
The event is open to Loyalist Township residents only. Commercial, industrial and institutional waste will not be accepted.
Residents are encouraged to review the list of accepted materials and event details before attending to ensure items can be safely collected and managed.
