Blues guitarist and singer Davy Knowles is bringing his high-energy blues-rock sound to Deseronto this weekend as part of his world tour.
Knowles, who grew up on the Isle of Man in the British Isles, said his love for guitar started at a young age. He was inspired by artists including Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, Eric Clapton and Rory Gallagher, who he calls his biggest musical influence.
The musician shared with myFM fans attending his show can expect a traditional blues-rock performance inspired by the music of the 1960s and 1970s.
Throughout his career, Knowles has shared stages with some of the biggest names in music, including Jeff Beck and Peter Frampton. He said those experiences have taught him important lessons about staying humble and continuing to grow as an artist.
Knowles also reflected on being the first artist to perform live to the International Space Station, calling the experience surreal and unforgettable.
Tickets for the show are still available online.
