Hastings–Lennox and Addington–Tyendinaga MP Shelby Kramp-Neuman has been appointed Ontario Special Advisor in the Official Opposition Shadow Cabinet.
Kramp-Neuman made the announcement in a statement released Tuesday.
“I am honoured to join our Official Opposition Shadow Cabinet as Ontario Special Advisor. Ontario’s priorities are Canada’s priorities, and I look forward to working with colleagues, families, stakeholders and all levels of government to ensure Ontario’s voice is heard by our Leader and throughout our Conservative team.
“I also want to congratulate Shuv Majumdar on his appointment as Shadow Minister for Canada–U.S. Relations. I look forward to working alongside him to strengthen the enduring partnership between Canada and the United States and advance the shared interests of Canadians.
“As we mark Canada Day and prepare for the critically important CUSMA review, I want to thank Minister LeBlanc, Chief Negotiator Janice Charette, Ambassador Wiseman, and everyone on both sides of the border working to secure a successful outcome. We all share the goal of protecting Canadian workers, businesses, and families, including achieving the removal of the unjustified Section 232 tariffs. Canada’s Conservatives stand ready to work constructively in support of that objective and to advance Canada’s national interest.”
