Communities across the region are preparing for Canada Day celebrations on July 1, with events scheduled from morning until dusk.
Greater Napanee will begin with a firefighter pancake breakfast at Best and Bash Arena from 7 to 10 a.m., followed by the Napanee Valley Cruisers Show N’ Shine car show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Evening activities will include family entertainment, music, games, and fireworks at 9:50 p.m.
In Bath, a pancake breakfast runs from 7 to 11 a.m., with a vendor market and kids zone from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A parade is set for 1 p.m., followed by a foam party.
Tamworth will host a pancake breakfast, soap box derby races, a parade, and fireworks at 10 p.m.
Deseronto will also hold their annual fireworks displays at dusk across the Bay of Quinte.
