The Greater Napanee Fire Truck Pull, hosted by Greater Napanee Connect, will bring teams together at Best & Bash Arena this Saturday to raise money for their own charity of choice.
88.7 myFM and the Napanee Raiders are joining forces as the Hat Trick Heroes and Mic Check Champions to pull for Hospice Lennox and Addington.
Hospice L&A’s Melanie Bramburger says hospice care supports families long before end of life,
She explains the organization offers volunteer home visiting, bereavement programs, caregiver support, and equipment loans for palliative patients.
Bramburger says fundraising is essential as they have a small staff and relies on community support to keep services running.
myFM has a deep rooted connection with Hospice L&A through our Jamie Cybulski and the late Dave Pinnell Jr’s longest days of golf and their trivia nights.
Many of the Napanee Raiders also have personal ties to hospice as over the years family members have been diagnosed with palliative illnesses and have accessed bereavement support services provided by Hospice Lennox & Addington.
The public are invited to attend, cheer on participants, and donate. The team with the most donations is one step closer to winning best team and having their charity recieve the funds.
Supporters can donate online before and during the event day. You can support our team pulling for Hospice L&A by clicking the link here.
