The Community Foundation for Lennox & Addington has appointed three new members to its Board of Directors as the organization continues expanding support for local programs and student awards.
Doug Alkenbrack, Adrienne Harris-Hale and Brent Petticrew were officially welcomed during the foundation’s annual meeting in May. Each will serve an initial three-year term.

Board Chair Pat Garrod said the foundation has been building momentum in recent years with a stronger focus on fund development and increasing community impact across Lennox and Addington County.
Alkenbrack spent 50 years working as a family physician in Napanee and also served as a local coroner for more than four decades before retiring in 2022.
Harris-Hale brings experience in nursing, hospital consulting and volunteer leadership, including past roles with the L&A County General Hospital Foundation.
Petticrew, branch manager of Kawartha Financial Services in Napanee, will also serve as the foundation’s Treasurer for 2026.
The board also reappointed Garrod as Chair and Gary Shortt as Vice-Chair.
