The County of Lennox and Addington has expanded its 2026 Asphalt Rejuvenation Program and adjusted its schedule due to weather conditions and added road work.
County Road 29 has been added to the project and is scheduled for work during the week of May 26, 2026, weather permitting. Officials say drivers should expect minor delays while crews complete the maintenance.
The county also confirmed earlier delays to the program caused by cold temperatures and wet weather, which made conditions unsuitable for asphalt rejuvenation work. The program is now expected to begin the week of May 19, 2026.
Superior Road Products has been contracted to complete the work on several routes, including County Roads 4, 1, 6, 11 and 21.
The process uses an asphalt rejuvenating agent designed to restore aging pavement, seal cracks and extend road life. Officials say the work is a preventative maintenance measure that helps improve long-term road safety and conditions.
