Giant Tiger in Greater Napanee is celebrating a successful anniversary celebration after raising $1,500 for the Lennox and Addington Ontario SPCA Animal Centre.
General Manager Wayne Wakely said the fundraiser was created to give back to the community while supporting animals in need.
Along with the cheque presentation, the store also donated some merchandise and pet food to the shelter.
Wakley and the crew at Giant Tiger are well known for giving back to the community throughout the year.
He added the store often adds matching donations and rounds up the customer contributions.
Wakely is very thankful for the support from the community to make these donations possible.
Wakely said the store hopes to continue expanding its community support efforts in the future.
